Job summary

A leading packaging company is seeking a Process Safety Management (PSM)/EHS Manager in Oegstgeest. You will oversee EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive PSM development across multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree with at least 5 years' experience in safety management and regulations within a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership skills and proficiency in Dutch and English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to interpret and modify organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Drive PSM development, EHS programs, regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site audits and mentorship for new engineers.
• Implement global corporate EHS/PSM programs and sustainability goals.

Skills

Occupational and process safety expertise (HAZOP, PHA, PSM)

Leadership and managerial skills

Industrial safety and occupational EHS experience

Knowledge of Dutch and EU regulatory requirements

Project/problem resolution skills

Verbal, written, and presentation skills in Dutch and English

Education

Technical or university degree in Environment, Health and Safety or Chemical/Process Engineering
