Job summary

Airwallex in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Account Executive to build and maintain strategic client relationships across the region, owning the full sales cycle and supporting multiple go-to-market strategies.

You will drive revenue growth, acquire new clients, and represent Airwallex in client meetings and events across The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, delivering thought leadership and solutions powered by Airwallex products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• English and Dutch fluency required; strong written and spoken communication.
• 4+ years of sales experience in fintech or payments selling technical products.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft multi-product solutions.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for CXO-level meetings.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills; adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent and collaborative work style; comfortable with ambiguity.
• Proficient in CRM software and forecasting.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve and exceed targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to ensure customer success.
• Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing, including complex multi-product deals.
• Provide feedback to the product team on customer needs and market trends.
