Job summary

ICL Group is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our HR Operations team in the Netherlands. You will manage monthly payroll for five Dutch entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery, while supporting tax declarations and payroll accounting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll administration experience.
• Good knowledge of Dutch payroll administration, payroll tax and social security legislation.
• A Praktijkdiploma Loonadministratie (PDL) or willingness to obtain the qualification.
• Experience processing payroll for multiple legal entities is an advantage.
• Strong administrative, analytical and organizational skills.
• Good Excel skills and experience working with HR and payroll systems.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• A reliable, discreet and professional approach to handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the monthly payroll process for five Dutch legal entities.
• Process and validate payroll transactions, including salary changes, bonuses, allowances, benefits and deductions.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in accordance with payroll calendars and deadlines.
• Support payroll tax declarations and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
• Carry out administration activities, including reporting and reconciliations with providers and vendors.
• Prepare payroll reports and support payroll accounting activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee documentation.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, managers and HR colleagues in a professional and service-oriented manner.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with payroll controls, policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, efficiency and service delivery.
