At NetApp, your ideas power innovation. We lead in intelligent data infrastructure—delivering unified storage, integrated data services, and solutions that help organizations unlock the full potential of their data, from AI to multicloud.

Ready to innovate and contribute to our path to $10B? Here, you'll collaborate with passionate teams, tackle real-world challenges, and see your impact in how customers transform and grow. If you're ready to bring curiosity, creativity, and drive to every moment, NetApp is where your journey begins. Join teams that innovate to elevate, drive results, and excel together across every function.

Job Summary

As a District Manager in the Netherlands, you will hold a highly visible leadership role that combines people leadership, strategic planning, customer engagement, and revenue accountability. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and inspire a high-performing team of sales professionals.

In this role, you will be crucial for driving NetApp's growth across the defined territory of the Netherlands. You will leverage your experience in enterprise technology sales to develop and execute territory strategies that accelerate customer adoption of NetApp's intelligent data infrastructure portfolio.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Maximizing revenue by coaching your teams on developing new opportunities, managing the pipeline, and fostering relationships with customers and partners.
  • A focus on landing new accounts, as well as upselling and cross-selling to expand the share-of-wallet within existing accounts.
  • Working closely with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to help organizations modernize their data strategies and achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Residing within the territory and being able to travel regularly to engage with your team, customers, and partners.

You will be instrumental in shaping market strategy, inspiring your teams, and driving transformational outcomes for both customers and NetApp.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed revenue objectives. This involves fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive revenue growth across the defined territory, prioritizing hunting new "land" accounts and increasing "share-of-wallet" in existing "expand" accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Build strong executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive pipeline generation, opportunity progression, forecast accuracy, and sales execution excellence, including owning and leading the delivery of accurate forecasts and sales stage progression through disciplined use of MEDDICC by all team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, Marketing, and Partner teams to deliver successful customer outcomes. You will act as a district sales orchestrator, engaging the right experts at the right time.
  • Drive a high-performance culture leveraging, providing consistent and actionable feedback, and effectively managing underperforming team members while recruiting high-performing talent.
Job Requirements
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience selling complex technology solutions through consultative and value-based sales methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, AI, cloud, data management, and storage technologies.
  • Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product Management, Professional Services, and Engineering organizations.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
  • Experience working with channel partners and ecosystem relationships is highly desirable.
  • 8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading direct or matrixed sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in growing revenue, exceeding sales targets, and leading high-performing organizations.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic territory plans and business growth initiatives.
