Job summary

NetApp in the Netherlands seeks an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to own the technical relationship with customers, partnering with Client Executives to drive business outcomes across both existing and new accounts. You will design, architect, and configure solutions for complex enterprise environments, manage multiple deals, and lead hands-on POCs and technical workshops.

The role requires strong discovery, presentation, and RFP response skills in Dutch and English, with travel to client sites

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years with a Master's degree.
• Fluent Dutch and English with strong presenting and RFP response skills.
• Experience with enterprise data storage and cloud architectures.

Job Summary

Behind every great sales rep is a Solutions Engineer who makes the magic happen. As an Enterprise Solutions Engineer, you will own the technical relationship with customers while partnering closely with your Client Executive to drive business outcomes, winning together across both existing accounts and net-new opportunities. You will design, architect, and configure solutions across complex enterprise environments, manage multiple deals at various stages, and bring the art of what19s possible to every engagement. This role blends deep technical expertise, strong channel collaboration, and a high-energy, team-first culture where we work hard, win together, and actually enjoy doing it.

Job Requirements

• Proven (4+ years) success supporting enterprise or large customers in complex sales cycles, preferably in financial services sectors.
• Engage customers in forward-looking conversations around AI readiness, data strategy, hybrid cloud, and disaster recovery.
• Strong knowledge of data storage, data protection/continuity (including cyber), virtualization, containers, and ideally cloud architectures.
• Strong discovery, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value.
• Collaborate with client executives, channel partners, and specialists to deliver seamless outcomes and drive demand generation, enablement, and joint selling motions.
• Demonstrate ownership of issues, solutions, and architectures in customer or partner environments, and work with the extended team to help resolve them while delivering the highest customer experience.
• Strong expertise in technical pre-sales, with the ability to do hands-on POCs and conduct technical workshops.
• Ability to assist in creating ROI/TCO overviews and articulate the competitive advantages of solution offerings.
• Excellent written and verbal Dutch/English communication skills, including making technology-oriented commercial presentations and answering RFPs with partners or sales.
• Maintain deep knowledge of NetApp’s portfolio and competitive landscape to guide customer strategy.
• Partner closely with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to prospective customer sites and locations as necessary.
• Knowledge of NetApp’s competitive and alliance landscape would be an added advantage.
