Job summary

The Pyrmont Curaçao Beach Resort is hiring an experienced Bar/Lounge Manager to lead beverage programs across all outlets in our adults-only, all-inclusive environment. You will design cocktail concepts, train teams, manage inventory and costs, and ensure compliance with local regulations while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will oversee day-to-day bar and lounge operations, implement SOPs, and collaborate with marketing on beverage promotions, driving profitability and brand

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in bar or lounge management within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, and beverage trends.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and achieving operational targets.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Understanding of local alcohol laws, safety, and hygiene.
• Strong financial acumen and guest-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written); Dutch/Spanish/Papiamentu an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop the beverage program reflecting signature menus and brand identity.
• Create seasonal beverage programs and oversee bar, lounge, and pool/beach service.
• Develop SOPs, service standards, and training materials.
• Ensure recipe execution, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Source premium spirits through vendors and manage inventory.
• Monitor cleanliness, equipment, and bar ambiance.
• Lead and train bartenders, servers, and barbacks.
• Schedule staff and communicate priorities clearly.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
