Job summary

ESP Global Services is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our Zwolle team, working on-site from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. This fixed 12-month contract offers hands-on IT support across hardware, software, and network issues with potential renewal.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot Windows, iOS, and Android environments, manage Active Directory tasks, and provide frontline desktop and connectivity support in a fast-paced enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years IT infrastructure/support experience including hardware, software and OS troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Dutch and English (B2 level).
• Solid knowledge of Windows OS.
• Experience troubleshooting Office 365.
• Wireless networking knowledge.
• Understanding of network protocols, server hardware and configurations.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Basic LAN-WAN knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Perform Smart Hands support for networking hardware.
• Troubleshoot Windows/iOS/Android OS, software installs and security updates.
• Manage Active Directory tasks.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity (LAN/WAN/VPN/Wi‑Fi).

Desktop Support Engineer - Netherlands, Zwolle - Fixed Contract 12 months (with potential for renewal) - € 43,900 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Perform some Smart Hands support for networking hardware.
• Troubleshoot within Windows / iOS / Android OS support, software installations, and security updates.
• Manage Active Directory tasks.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).

Requirements

What will you bring to ESP?

• If you have 1-3 years of experience providing IT infrastructure support, including hardware, software, and operating system troubleshooting
• Proficient Dutch and English (B2 level)
• Good command of Windows O/S
• Microsoft Office 365 troubleshooting experience
• Wireless networking knowledge
• Understanding of network protocols, server hardware and configurations
• Experience with Active Directory
• Advantage: Basic knowledge of LAN-WAN setups and concepts
