Job summary

GXO Logistics, a global leader in supply chain solutions, seeks a Deputy Site Manager for its Nieuwegein operation. You’ll report to the Site Manager and help steer day-to-day performance in a large-scale, 24/7 site supporting our retail customer.

You will manage a team of direct reports, drive continuous improvement, and develop talent while aligning with safety, quality and cost targets. This onsite role offers progression toward Site Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large teams in complex, multi-shift operations.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Financial awareness with budget and cost control experience.
• Experience with Lean, process improvement and KPI-driven delivery.
• Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager to oversee day-to-day performance of a large, high-volume operation.
• Lead and develop direct reports, building a high-performing leadership team.
• Monitor KPIs, drive performance, and manage corrective actions where needed.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance across the site and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, QESH and other functions to deliver objectives.
