HCL Technologies B.V. is seeking a Technical Lead in the Netherlands to drive Delphi-based development, modernisation, and database optimization. You will translate requirements into designs, guide complex implementations, and ensure code quality across teams.

The role demands 5–8 years of Delphi experience, strong SQL Server skills, and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and DevExpress components. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to standards are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of software development experience, including significant hands-on Delphi development.
• At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and enterprise application support.
• Experience working in Agile product-development and maintenance teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new EFPAC features and functional enhancements using Delphi.
• Maintain and modernise existing Delphi applications, packages, and DLLs.
• Translate business requirements and product backlog items into technical designs, workflows, and algorithms.
• Perform code refactoring, peer reviews, and adherence checks against coding standards.
• Develop and execute unit tests and maintain supporting test evidence.
• Investigate defects and production issues through debugging and root cause analysis.
• Resolve issues identified during integration, regression, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and optimise Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures, functions, and queries.
• Build and maintain database connectivity using ADO and FireDAC.
• Support performance improvements, package upgrades, customer implementations, and configuration activities.
• Automate recurring development and operational activities using appropriate tools and scripts.
• Support Azure DevOps build and deployment pipelines, Git-based source control, and work-item management.
• Assist with feasibility studies, proof-of-concept development, customer-scenario recreation, and cloud migration activities.
• Prepare technical designs, code review checklists, test results, RCA documents, and other project documentation.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Planning Interval activities.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, architects, technical leads, developers, and QA teams.
• Ensure deliverables meet defined acceptance, quality, security, and audit-compliance requirements.
