Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Junior Cloud DevOps Engineer – Azure Based to join our global DevOps team in a hybrid setting in the Netherlands. You will implement solutions with cloud architects, improve DevOps services, and document processes for cross-training.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform or Site Reliability Engineer.
Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep).
Experience in building and maintaining Azure IaaS components (VM, Storage and Networking).
Hands-on experience in building and maintaining Azure PaaS Components – App Services, Function Apps, App Gateways and Load Balancers, etc.
Understanding of containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of observability, reliability and security.
A structured, service-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with rapid technological changes and complex customer requirements.
Nice to have: certifications in Azure (AZ-900 or AZ - 104)

Responsibilities

Implement solutions provided by Cloud Architects, Solution Architects and Sr. DevOps team members through documented instructions;
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement on DevOps services provided;
Document the process and tasks being taught so it can be standardized and cross trained across the team;
Strengthen reliability, security, observability and operational excellence, and resolve incidents through root cause analysis.
