Job summary

Iron Mountain Haarlem seeks a dedicated Critical Facilities Technician to join our Data Center team, providing essential technical and facility support in a 24x7 environment dedicated to uptime.

This full-time role maintains critical electrical, HVAC, civil, and building management systems; you will monitor tickets, ensure safety, and coordinate with contractors, with opportunities for overtime and a 10% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a critical operations environment and/or data center is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of critical power, cooling and building systems to meet uptime targets.
• Perform maintenance on data center heating and cooling systems and facilities.
• Monitor and resolve service tickets for electrical and physical equipment.
• Ensure safety by following procedures and addressing issues proactively.

What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)

• Take ownership of our critical power, cooling/environmental, security & support systems and facilities to meet or exceed uptime service levels.
• Perform limited maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the data center's heating and cooling systems and overall facility.
• Monitor, resolve, and update all assigned service tickets using a ticketing system, including trouble tickets and customer installations of electrical and physical equipment.
• Ensure the safety of the environment and occupants by adhering to all safety procedures and proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Permit and monitor contract vendors, assisting in arranging access and creating work authorizations/changes for internal works or for vendors.
