Oakwell Hampton Group in Amsterdam is seeking a Data Analyst who will own how new data is structured and modelled for a growing data platform. This role goes beyond dashboards, focusing on the data modelling decisions behind the product.
You will work with sources like POS, reservations, accounting, and reviews, translate client requirements into scalable solutions, and collaborate with enterprise data teams from requirements to implementation.
Data Analyst: Build the Data Model Behind a Growing Data Platform
Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid)
Fast-Growing Data & Technology Company
What if the data models you built weren't just used for one report...
but became part of a central platform used by thousands of businesses to make better decisions every day?
I'm working with a fast-growing technology company that's building a data intelligence platform for the hospitality industry. Their platform brings together data from systems including POS, workforce planning, reservations, purchasing, accounting and customer reviews, transforming it into a centralised data model that customers can use directly for reporting and decision-making.
As the company continues to grow its platform and enterprise customer base, they're looking for a Data Analyst who wants to take ownership of how new data is structured, modelled and integrated into the platform.
This isn't a traditional Data Analyst role focused primarily on dashboards and reporting.
You'll be responsible for making the data modelling decisions behind the platform; deciding how new sources should fit into the existing model, what the right grain of a dataset should be, when to extend an existing table and when to introduce something new.
You'll also work directly with data teams at larger customers, translating their requirements into scalable solutions and taking ownership of projects from end to end.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys SQL, data modelling and solving complex data problems and wants to see their work become part of a product used across a growing customer base.
If you're a Data Analyst who enjoys building the data model behind the analytics, rather than simply building the dashboard on top of it, I'd love to tell you more about this opportunity.
Send me a message or email your CV, and I'd be happy to share the full details.
