The Role

• Support the development and optimisation of data infrastructure to ensure reliable and scalable data pipelines
• Work closely with analytics and product teams to define data requirements and improve data availability
• Contribute to data modelling, tracking design, and event instrumentation
• Improve data quality, validation processes, and governance standards
• Enable efficient querying and data access for analysts and stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise performance across data platforms
• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Bicep and Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient and secure deployment processes for data and infrastructure projects.
• Help establish best practices in data documentation, monitoring, and lifecycle management

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience working with data infrastructure, data engineering, or analytics engineering
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, BigQuery, or Databricks
• Advanced CI/CD experience
• Proven experience working with Azure services
• Understanding of data tracking, event-based data structures, and data quality frameworks
• Ability to work cross-functionally and translate technical concepts into practical solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving data systems
• Must have experience working with Bicep and Terraform
