Job summary

Contigo Talent is seeking an Account Manager in Amsterdam to manage and grow a portfolio of mid-market cybersecurity accounts across Europe. The role concentrates on deepening existing relationships and delivering value through consultative selling.

You will retain and expand the portfolio while handling competing priorities and occasionally exploring selective new business opportunities with established customers.

Qualifications

• Fluent English; Dutch is not required but would be an advantage.
• Based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate; office-based in Amsterdam.
• Account management experience in cybersecurity or adjacent technology, with mid-market focus.

Amsterdam - Managing and growing a portfolio of mid-market accounts

A high-growth cybersecurity business in Amsterdam is hiring an Account Manager to manage and grow its European customer base.

The role is weighted toward account management - owning, retaining and expanding a book of existing mid-market customers, typically businesses in the 500 to a 2000 employee range. Some new business development sits alongside this, but the core of the role is deepening relationships within an established portfolio rather than hunting from scratch.

Requirements

• Fluent English; Dutch is not required but would be an advantage
• Resident in the Amsterdam area or prepared to relocate; the role is office-based in Amsterdam
• Account management experience within cybersecurity, networking or adjacent technology, ideally with mid-market customers
• Track record of retaining and growing existing accounts through consultative, relationship-led selling
• Comfortable managing a full portfolio of customer relationships with competing priorities

Experience

• Account management background, weighted toward managing and expanding existing customer relationships
• Proven new business hunter
• Experience with mid-market customers (roughly 500-2,000 employees) is ideal
