Job summary

FedEx Express Netherlands is seeking a Clearance Broker to join the Customs Clearance team. The role covers sites in Veldhoven, Schiphol and Duiven, with a 39.25-hour workweek.

You will review shipment data, prepare declarations, contact clients and agencies, and handle routine disputes in a fast-paced office environment. Strong teamwork, regulatory knowledge, and customer-focused communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with import/export processes and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Familiarity with CHIEF entries and commercial flights processing is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review shipment data to identify regulatory requirements and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Use in-house systems to create accurate clearance declarations that are legally compliant.
• Contact customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed.
• Resolve routine customer and customs disputes and build client relationships.
• Work within tight deadlines in a busy office environment.
