Holiday Inn Express Almere zoekt een kok die verantwoordelijk is voor het ontbijt en de buffetpresentatie. Je werkt nauw samen met het F&B-team, rapporteert aan de Operations Manager en levert een bijdrage aan een vlotte service voor gasten.

De functie is 15,2 uur per week en vereist een proactieve, teamgerichte houding met aandacht voor HACCP en hygiëne. Ervaring in hotelomgevingen is een pre, en Engels is vereist.

• Ervaring in hotels is een plus.

Responsibilities

• Voorzie en onderhoudt het ontbijtbuffet.
• Bereid groepslunch en diner.
• Controleer voedselkwaliteit en HACCP-normen.
• Zorg voor een schone en georganiseerde keuken.
• Dagelijkse bestellingen bij leveranciers.
• Samenwerken met andere afdelingen voor een vlotte werking van de keuken.

THE POSITION

As a Cook, you will take on a high level of responsibility, ensuring our guests start their day with a great breakfast experience. Our hotel has 160 rooms, breakfast is included for every guest, and we daily serve group lunches and dinners. The ideal candidate is a great organizer, works in a fast pace and is a real team player. You work closely with the F&B team and report to the Operations Manager.

This is a position for 15.2 hours on a weekly basis.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and maintain the breakfast buffet with hot and cold dishes
• Prepare group lunch and dinner
• Monitor food quality, freshness and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Daily ordering of supplies with different suppliers
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth running of the kitchen

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Being able to work independently in the kitchen
• Having a creative and warm personality and knowing how to connect with everyone.
• Guest-oriented and representative.
• Speaking excellent English, the Dutch language is a plus.
• Experience in hotel settingsis a plus.
