Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. in Veghel is seeking a Controls Project Engineer to design, program and test PLC controls for our material handling systems, working with a multidisciplinary project team to deliver the Functional Specification.

You will own PLC software from detailed design through testing and implementation, travel to customer sites worldwide to commission systems, and ensure projects meet time, budget and quality targets while integrating controls within the overall system.

Qualifications

  • HBO degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science or Controls Technology.
  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Proactive, pragmatic and hands-on attitude.
  • Delivering feedback and best practice to improve our products.
  • Communicating with regular progress reports and managing deadlines and milestones.
  • Knowledge of and experience in PLC applications (TIA Portal).
  • Willing to work regularly for extended periods in other countries (up to 50% of your time).
  • Good command of the English language, Dutch language is preferred.

The Project Engineering department is responsible for the worldwide execution of Warehousing projects in which the different components (mechanical, electromechanical and controls) of our material handling systems are implemented.

This position offers a competitive salary range of €4.800,00 up to €6.000,00 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance) with a comprehensive travel allowance on top. Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
