Job summary

Calderys in Oosterhout, Netherlands, seeks a senior Controllership professional to ensure accurate P&L and balance sheet reporting, regulatory compliance, and timely closes.

You will partner with the Cluster Controller and shared services to deliver high-quality reporting, drive process improvements, and support audits; requires 5–10 years in multinational finance, SAP and Excel expertise, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• 5–10 years experience in accounting/controllership in multinational environments.
• Strong knowledge of P&L, balance sheet, statutory reporting, and Dutch tax compliance.
• Experience managing audits and working with external auditors.
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
• Fluent in English; additional European language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, working capital) and ensure data accuracy.
• Manage closing activities and analyze variances in sales, costs and inventory.
• Collaborate with shared services to ensure timely submissions.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged items promptly.
• Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Lead review and finalization of local statutory accounts, tax returns and audits.
• Monitor indirect tax submissions for compliance.
