Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced Third-Party Management Manager to provide hands‑on operational support in strengthening its third‑party and outsourcing management framework, with a particular focus on DORA and EBA regulatory requirements.

Role: Senior compliance Officer

Type & Duration: Contract for 3 months with potential extension

Must have : 1 - DORA – ICT Third-Party Risk Management, 2 - Third-Party / Outsourcing Risk Management, 3 - DORA Contract Compliance & Remediation

NOTE - Only freelancer/Zzp in Netherlands

This is a highly operational role requiring someone who can independently drive day‑to‑day execution, identify gaps, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and ensure third‑party management activities are appropriately documented, remediated, and monitored.

We are looking for a Manager-level profile who can support us for an initial period of 3 months, with the potential to extend depending on company’s priorities and 2027 budget.

The scope would include:

• Enhance the existing vendor list and ensure all relevant data is captured
• Review entirety of UTI vendors providing service
• Third-Party DORA Contract Compliance: Drive remediation of third-party vendors ensuring contracts are compliant with DORA and EBA requirements.
• Run BIA & CIF alignment with 3rd party requirements
• Third-Party Governance & Oversight: Ensure all vendor-related governance and oversight activities are accurately documented and maintained in the master vendor inventory, including reporting, risk assessments, remediation actions, ownership, oversight activities, key deadlines, and ongoing monitoring requirements.
• Develop Exit Plans in conjunction with Internal TPROs
• Execute Risk-Assessment of CIF Vendors

We are ideally looking for someone with strong hands‑on experience in DORA third‑party management requirements, particularly across vendor onboarding, scope definition, risk assessment, contractual requirements, and ongoing oversight.

Given the nature of the role, it is important that the person is highly operational, proactive, and a self‑starter who is comfortable owning and executing day‑to‑day activities. Experience with automation would also be highly valued given the recurring nature of several of these processes.
