Third Party Risk Manager

The Global Procurement & Third Party Management department plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations across the organization. As the financial industry continues to evolve and new regulations—such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)—come into effect, our focus is shifting increasingly toward third-party risk management and digital operational resilience.

In this context, the Procurement & Third Party Management department is responsible for overseeing and managing relationships with third-party service providers. This includes ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies, conducting thorough risk assessments, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies, and continuously monitoring vendor performance, risks, and resilience. To support this, a global Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework is currently being developed and implemented.

Position

As a Procurement & Third Party Manager, your primary responsibility will be to embed the TPRM framework and DORA requirements into our policies, processes, and procedures. A key part of your role will also involve educating and supporting your colleagues within the Procurement & Third Party Management team on third-party risk management practices.

You will ensure that our vendors comply with DORA and other relevant regulations, as well as with internal policies and standards. Additionally, you will monitor and assess vendor performance, risk, and resilience, and report on any issues or incidents that could impact our operations or reputation.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Vendor Manager or Third Party Risk Manager, preferably in the financial services industry
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BSc or MSc)
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• Hands-on experience with vendor monitoring, including conducting vendor due diligence, assessing assurance reports, and tracking performance metrics
• Experience with procurement processes (including Procure-to-Pay) and familiarity with Workday as a procurement system is preferred
• Positive, detail-oriented, and flexible mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
