Description du poste

Vacancy: Third‑Party Management Specialist (Level 4 – Entry Level)

Location: Netherlands (Hybrid)

Requirement: You must live in the Netherlands and hold a valid Dutch work permit.

Actively contribute to strong third‑party governance

Do you enjoy working hands‑on and content‑driven in Third Party Risk Management within a professional, regulated environment? Do you have approximately 2–3 years of experience with due diligence, supplier risk assessments and completing TPM documentation, and are you looking to deepen your expertise within an international financial organization? Then this role is an excellent next step.

About the organization

Our client is an international player in financial services and asset management, with a strong footprint in the Netherlands. The organization is known for its professional, collaborative culture and its strong focus on operational resilience, compliance, data‑driven decision‑making and sustainability.

The role sits within the Global Procurement, Third‑Party & Facility Management domain, part of the COO organization. This domain plays a key role in managing risks related to external parties and consists of four closely connected teams:

  • Procurement – contract management and cost optimization
  • Third‑Party Management (TPM) – supplier risk, compliance and governance
  • Facility Management – ensuring a safe and efficient workplace

The role: Third‑Party Management Specialist

As a Third‑Party Management Specialist, you are an active member of the TPM team and are responsible for executing due diligence analyses on third parties. You ensure that third‑party risk and control documentation is completed accurately and with strong content quality, and you clearly understand what is required within risk assessments.

You know:

  • what information is relevant for a proper risk assessment;
  • where potential risks or gaps may exist;
  • and when to ask critical and in‑depth follow‑up questions to stakeholders and suppliers.

The ideal candidate combines operational execution power with substantive understanding of third‑party risks. You actively contribute to day‑to‑day execution while remaining curious, critical and eager to learn. This is explicitly not a role for someone who works only theoretically or considers themselves “fully trained”.

Key responsibilities

Third‑Party Risk Management

  • Perform due diligence analyses on suppliers and other third parties
  • Complete and review third‑party risk and control documentation
  • Execute supplier risk assessments and assurance reviews
  • Identify risks and raise meaningful follow‑up questions
  • Monitor supplier performance, risk developments and incidents
  • Support compliance with regulations such as DORA, Wft, MiFID II and AIFMD
  • Maintain complete, consistent and audit‑ready TPM files
  • Provide clear and timely risk updates to internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with IT, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Procurement
  • Support business stakeholders in TPM processes and requirements

What you bring

Education & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar)
  • Approximately 2–3 years of proven experience in Third Party Risk Management, for example with:
  • supplier / third‑party due diligence
  • completing and reviewing TPM documentation
  • identifying risks and asking substantive follow‑up questions
  • Working knowledge of financial regulations such as Wft, MiFID II, AIFMD and/or DORA
  • Experience with ERP or TPM tools (e.g. MetricStream) is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Professional written and spoken English

Personal attributes

  • Curious, critical and eager to learn
  • Practical mindset: able to both understand and execute
  • Comfortable working in a regulated, professional environment

What we offer

  • Gross monthly salary between €4,800 and €5,500 based on 40 hours, including holiday allowance
  • A professional, international working environment
  • Strong opportunities for further development in TPM and risk management

Location & eligibility

  • You live in the Netherlands
  • You hold a valid Dutch work permit (required)
