Job summary

Van den Bosch is seeking an ambitious Commercial Control Officer who is analytically strong, commercially driven and detail‑oriented. You will join a small, dedicated team within our larger commercial department and help optimize commercial processes, prepare cost calculations for quotations, and translate them into pricing recommendations for our pricing managers.

You will analyze commercial data, create clear reports for Account Managers, work on tender requests, and propose transport

For our commercial department, we are seeking an ambitious Commercial Control Officer. In this role, you are an important link within our organization and contribute to optimizing commercial processes. You will work in a small, dedicated team within a larger commercial department, where we collaborate daily to serve customers across various segments and regions in the best possible way.

Before you get started, you will join our in‑house Academy for an extensive introduction program. Here, you will learn all about the dynamic world of intermodal bulk transport and build a solid foundation for your further development within our organization.

In this position, you will prepare cost calculations for quotations and translate them into well‑founded pricing recommendations for the pricing managers. You will also analyze commercial data and create clear reports that support our Account Managers in preparing customer visits. Additionally, you will work on tender requests, always searching for the most suitable transport solutions for our customers. You continuously think along about improvements and innovative solutions, contributing to competitive rates and efficient logistics processes. With your analytical mindset and proactive attitude, you identify opportunities and translate them into concrete advice and solutions that add value for both the customer and the organization.
