Job summary

TrainMore Utrecht is seeking an energetic Club Manager to lead daily club operations, drive sales and oversee a high-performing team. You will shape the member experience, ensure safety and cleanliness, and own the club’s KPI targets while collaborating with HQ and regional teams.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a service-first mindset, and a passion for fitness. You will motivate staff, manage budgets, and represent TrainMore’s brand standards at the local level.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales with a track record of hitting KPIs.
• Hospitality or customer-facing background with a service-first mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
• Hands-on, proactive leadership style.
• History of building high-performing teams.
• Results-driven with ownership mindset.
• Passion for fitness/sport and leading by example.
• Stakeholder management experience.
• Fitness/leisure industry experience is a plus, not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the club – member experience to safety, staffing and cleanliness.
• Own the club’s commercial performance, including budget and KPI management.

• Recruit, train, and develop a strong team across roles from trainers to front desk and cleaners.

• Collaborate with HQ and regional stakeholders to align on goals, strategy and performance.

• Understand cost control without compromising quality and provide examples for club scenarios.

• A background in hospitality or other customer-facing environments with a service-first mindset.
• Excellent communication skills — confident when engaging with both teams and stakeholders.

• Results-driven, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• A personal passion for fitness, health or sport — and you lead by example.
• Stakeholder management experience.
• Experience in the fitness or leisure industry is a plus, but not essential.
