Job summary

Qualifications

• Escalate complex issues to Level 3 support and assist with troubleshooting and resolution.
• Document and track technical issues and tickets, ensuring clear communication.
• Provide SME support for JSSC applications to end users and COIs.

We are currently seeking a Chief Technician with a NATO Cosmic Top Secret security clearance.

Location: Brunssum, Netherlands (relocation required)

Security Clearance: NATO Cosmic Top Secret (mandatory)

Contract: B2B

Skills, knowledge, experience required:

• Must have excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recent experience (within the past 5 years);
• Must have proficiency in the Office Suite and reporting tools;
• Must have excellent understanding and experience of network communication protocols TCP/IP, OSI layers, Firewalls and Security principles.

Nice to have:

• Have a detailed understanding of cybersecurity issues within NATO or a national environment, including the Security and Defence Policies rationales;
• Demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving;
• Good understanding of networking, network analysis and measurement techniques;
• Relevant certification in IT Service Management such as ITIL 4 Foundation, ITIL 4 Specialist;
• A valid CCNA or CCNP certification;
• Microsoft certification;
• Trellix practical skills and experience.

Duties/role:

• Escalating complex issues to Level 3 support teams and supporting troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution activities;
• Documenting and escalating technical issues and trouble tickets while ensuring proper tracking and communication;
• Providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for JSSC applications to end users and Communities of Interest (COIs).
