Job summary

ING is seeking an IT Chapter Lead to directly manage and mentor a team of 10–12 data engineers focused on translating ING's reporting challenges into the Finance & Risk integrated data architecture (FRIDA). You will lead in cloud-native environments, align with domain architects, and co-create area vision while ensuring data contracts, quality, and governance.

You will oversee end-to-end data onboarding, promote reusable patterns, and drive continuous improvement, while balancing Run and Change

Qualifications

• At least 10 years experience as a data engineer.
• Strong people leadership in data engineering.
• Expertise in cloud-native data platforms, data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, and large-scale data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead a data engineering chapter of 10–12 engineers.
• Be technical leader and trusted advisor for cloud-native data platforms and data warehousing.
• Drive onboarding and integration of multiple source systems into Finance & Risk architecture.
