Job summary

ING Bank NL is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect focused on Data & Analytics to translate strategy into coherent target architectures and lead cross‑domain solutions. You will influence business and technology choices while shaping secure, scalable platforms across ING.

You will collaborate with senior architects and domain teams, drive data governance, and ensure architectural guardrails align with global standards. Hybrid work and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 5+ years in enterprise architecture, data & analytics.
• Proven large-scale data and analytics platforms on-prem and cloud (GCP).
• Strong data architecture and governance experience (DMBoK).
• Understanding of regulated environments (GDPR, AI Act, DORA, BCBS239).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in multinational, agile organisations.
• Reflective mindset and awareness of biases in solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into target architectures for data, analytics and AI.
• Steer the global roadmaps and centralised designs.
• Design and evolve ING’s data & analytics platform.
• Manage complexity of delivering data/AI at scale.
• Coordinate with domain and solution architects for end‑to‑end services.
• Maintain relationships with area leads and engineers.
• Identify architectural improvements for secure, cost‑effective solutions.
