Job summary

ING’s Central Data Office is seeking a Data Analyst to help build scalable data practices across the organization. You’ll collaborate with Martech, Analytics and business stakeholders to standardize data processes and promote reusable solutions.

You will translate data into actionable insights, maintain documentation and playbooks, and support a data-driven culture through continuous improvement and knowledge sharing in a hybrid Amsterdam setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Econometrics or a comparable quantitative field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in analytics within large organisations or financial services preferred.
• Proven experience with SQL.
• Experience with SAS and/or Python is a plus.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Cognos or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Comfort working in an agile environment and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and adoption of scalable data capabilities and ways of working across ING.
• Support adoption of shared data standards, frameworks and best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines and playbooks to ensure clarity and accessibility.
• Translate data into actionable insights and present outcomes in a business-relevant way.
• Collaborate with data specialists, marketers, analytics colleagues, product leads and stakeholders to improve data processes and tooling.
• Strengthen ING’s fact-based culture by sharing knowledge and continuously improving ways of working.
