Stoneridge in the Netherlands seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to translate stakeholder and customer requirements into detailed camera‑system specifications and architecture, ensuring traceability from concept to validation.

You will define subsystems and interfaces, evaluate feasibility, drive robust solutions, and collaborate across software, mechanical, electrical, and verification teams while maintaining camera FMEA and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in automotive or heavy equipment industries.
• Knowledge of requirements engineering through formal training or hands‑on experience.
• Experience in system architecture development and translating requirements into technical solutions, with camera systems focus.
• Proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools such as DOORS NG, Polarion, Capella or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills for managing complex system interactions and interfaces.

Responsabilités

• Translate customer and business needs into clear, prioritized functional and non‑functional system requirements.
• Develop and maintain system architecture, system elements, and interface definitions with design reviews.
• Perform system modeling, simulations, and trade‑off analyses to support decision making.
• Collaborate with software, functional safety, cybersecurity, electrical and mechanical engineering, verification, and project management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and internal processes, including maintaining camera FMEA.
