Job summary

Stoneridge seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer to translate requirements into robust camera subsystem specifications. You will shape architecture, define interfaces, and ensure integration with software and hardware components across the product lifecycle.

Top candidates will have 5+ years in automotive/industrial environments, expertise in image processing and camera tech, and familiarity with MBSE tools. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are part of the role.

Qualifications

5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in automotive, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries.
Knowledge of requirements engineering via formal training or hands-on experience.
Experience in system architecture development and translating requirements into technical solutions.
Expertise in camera systems, image processing, image recognition, and image stitching technologies.
Proficiency with requirements management and system Modeling tools such as DOORS NG, Polarion, Capella.

Responsibilities

Translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear, prioritized functional and non-functional system requirements.
Develop and maintain system architecture, interface definitions, and perform design reviews.
Conduct system modeling, simulations, and risk analyses to support decisions.
Collaborate with software, cybersecurity, electrical, mechanical engineering, and project management teams.
Ensure compliance with standards and internal processes including camera FMEA.
