Job summary

Stoneridge is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to design and integrate automotive camera systems, monitors and display modules. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, manufacturable solutions, applying DFMEA and thermal management expertise.

The role requires 7+ years in automotive mechanical design, proficiency in multiple CAD tools, and experience with mechatronic product development and mass production processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of automotive mechanical design experience including hands-on development and integration.
• Familiarity with thermal management, sealing, mounting systems, materials.
• Experience with mechatronic product development and mass production.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate automotive camera systems, monitors, and display modules.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and optical teams for seamless integration.
• Perform tolerance analyses, DFMEA, design reviews, and environmental testing.
