Job summary

Frank Energie in Amsterdam is seeking a Business Developer to drive the Danish market, shaping go-to-market strategy and forming strategic partnerships with OEMs and distributors. You will collaborate with Marketing and the CCO to tailor propositions for Denmark and build robust acquisition channels.

The role requires native Danish with 3+ years in BD/marketing, fluent Danish and English, and a commercial, proactive mindset to own the Danish market.

Qualifications

  • Native Danish speaker with at least 3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or marketing, preferably with an existing network in the Danish market;
  • Knowledge of acquisition channels such as comparison sites, affiliates, or partnerships;
  • A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset: results-driven and data-oriented;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting partnerships;
  • Independent, proactive, and eager to take ownership of the Danish market;
  • Fluent in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute the go-to-market strategy for Denmark, coordinating with the CCO and Marketing Manager;
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with OEMs and distributors of home batteries, solar, heat pumps, and EV chargers;
  • Conduct competitor and market research to ensure Denmark-facing competitiveness;
  • Build acquisition channels via comparison sites, affiliates, and partner networks;
  • Develop relationships with installers and hardware partners;
  • Support online marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta, display) with the marketing team;
  • Track performance across the full funnel (traffic, conversions, onboarding);
  • Maintain customer retention through churn improvement programs.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Developer who will take full responsibility for driving Frank Energie’s commercial success in the Danish market. You will be at the forefront of our international expansion, ensuring that Frank’s proposition, partnerships, and acquisition channels are competitive and tailored to Denmark.

You will closely collaborate with the Marketing Manager, the marketing team, and the CCO. Together, you’ll develop strategies, execute campaigns, and build strong relationships with partners and clients.

What you’ll do
  • Shape and execute the go-to-market strategy for Denmark, working directly with the CCO and Marketing Manager to adapt Frank’s propositionto the Danish market;

  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with OEMs and distributors of home batteries, solar, heat pumps, and EV chargers, positioning Frank as a key enabler of the Danish energy transition;

  • Conduct competitor and market research to ensure competitive positioning and representation in Denmark;

  • Build acquisition channels via comparison sites, affiliates, and partner networks;

  • Develop relationships with installers and hardware partners (solar, EV, heat pumps, etc.);

  • Support always-on marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta, display), in collaboration with the marketing team;

  • Track performance across the full funnel (traffic, conversions, onboarding);

  • Keep clients onboard through churn improvement and retention programs.
