JD Talent Stream is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager focused on Energy & Sustainability for the Netherlands and BeNeLux. The role combines new-client development with strategic solution design, working with internal technical and engineering specialists.
Travel to customers is regular, with a flexible/hybrid working model. You will build relationships with senior stakeholders, identify opportunities, and develop commercially attractive energy efficiency and building-solutions offers
Location: Netherlands
Working model: Flexible / hybrid, with regular customer travel
We are supporting a large international technology and solutions organisation in the appointment of a Senior Business Development Manager focused on Energy & Sustainability.
This is a new-business role for someone who enjoys developing customer relationships, identifying commercial opportunities and helping organisations improve the efficiency and sustainability of their buildings and operations.
You will work with large customers across the Netherlands and wider BeNeLux region, supported by internal technical, commercial and engineering specialists.
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Experience with Energy Performance Contracting, Energy-as-a-Service or financed energy solutions would be valuable, but it is not essential.
A technical or engineering qualification is helpful, although relevant commercial and industry experience will also be considered.
The successful candidate can be based anywhere in the Netherlands, provided they are comfortable travelling regularly to customers across the Netherlands and the wider BeNeLux region.
This is a customer-facing role with a high level of autonomy and flexibility.
All applications will be treated confidentially.
This version retains the role’s genuine new-business and energy-sustainability focus but opens the funnel to candidates from adjacent technical, industrial, utility and building-solutions markets rather than requiring direct ESCO or EPC experience from the outset.
