Le Cordon Bleu International is looking for a Business Controller (Junior) to strengthen our financial oversight, enhance governance structures, and support our Institutes in making data-driven decisions that fuel sustainable growth.

Role Overview:

This is a full-time position based in Amsterdam. The Business Controller plays a pivotal role in ensuring financial control, governance, and business optimization across multiple institutes. You will act as a key financial partner, providing insights that enable management and teams to make informed decisions and ensuring adherence to the highest governance and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Performance Partnering

• Support institute management and operational teams in analyzing business performance (sales, margins, costs, KPIs).
• Participate in business reviews, identifying trends, deviations, and opportunities.
• Contribute to discussions on process improvement and strategic decision-making.

Planning & Forecasting

• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes for institutes under scope.
• Provide visibility on financial and operational projections using structured data and tools.
• Identify risks and opportunities and proactively communicate them to stakeholders.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel reports for management and local teams.
• Create structured insights based on sales, operations, marketing, and finance data.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and relevance of reports used for decision-making.

Process Optimization & Automation

• Support the automation of reporting processes (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.).
• Improve templates and streamline data flows for more efficient reporting.
• Monitor data quality and reporting accuracy across entities.
• Support internal control procedures and compliance with group policies.
• Assist in internal and external audit processes.

Internal Coordination

• Organize and lead meetings with local financial controllers to review performance and share best practices.
• Facilitate collaboration and communication between entities and LCBI.

Executive & Board Support

• Prepare performance summaries and presentations for the President and Board of Directors.
• Participate in finance and strategic meetings to improve cross-entity alignment.

Ad hoc Analysis & Projects

• Carry out specific analysis assignments in support of business performance or network-wide projects.
