What are going to be your main responsibilities?

You are responsible for the periodic review and reporting of activities related to the financial administration of real estate investments in the Netherlands;
Your reports are an important building block for the creation of the fund reports that are prepared for clients on a monthly or quarterly basis. A variance analysis is always part of that report. During the reporting period, you work closely together with the fund controller;
You keep up to date with the commercial developments in your real estate portfolio (redevelopments, contracts, etc.). In this process you will require a lot of information from asset management;
You are involved in the year-end accounting process and coordinate the audit;
You contribute to the purchase and sale process of real estate investments through financial information;
You regularly liaise with the investment controllers of our clients regarding the real estate investments and ensure timely follow-up and handling of financially related questions;
You are the point of contact for external parties such as property managers, appraisers, accountants and tax advisors;
You are the coordinator in the reporting process and responsible for planning. In case of questions, you make sure that these are followed up;
You support your colleagues with complex accounting or financial issues (IFRS or local GAAP);
With your knowledge of the administrations, you contribute to the client's budgeting process and translate this into a cashflow forecast;
You are aware of actual balance sheet positions and identify any discrepancies

What are we looking for?

Graduated from higher vocational education (Bachelor) or university
(Master) specializing in finance, such as business economics or accountancy;
Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience, preferably in a similar position at a financial organization or audit department, preferably with a Big four company;
Accurate, independent, proactive, solution-oriented attitude and communicative;
Relevant knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP with respect to real estate;
Experience in real estate accounting and reporting in a national and/ or international environment;
Fluent English language skills and a preference for Dutch language as well, both verbal and in writing;
Knowledge of Yardi is preferred
