Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Financial Controller in Amsterdam. The role involves leading financial planning and reporting processes, managing dashboards, and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years in financial management, a degree in accounting or finance, and proficiency in financial tools like SAP and Power BI. Our client is an industry leader, celebrated for revolutionizing technology and shaping global trends in the high-tech sector. On behalf of them, we are now looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in Amsterdam.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead financial planning, reporting, and controlling processes to ensure alignment with business goals
• Establish and manage financial reporting dashboards for business insights
• Oversee statutory reporting to ensure compliance with local and global company standards
• Monitor regional business performance and provide reports and key insights to regional management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within regional office and global HQ to support data-driven decision-making

Main Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial accounting and/or controlling
• Candidates coming from External Auditing are appreciated, given their exposure to overall accounting/finance
• Experience or interest in Business Analysis tasks
• Professional fluency in English
• Bachelor’s or Master‘s degree in Accounting/Finance or Business
• Strong command of financial systems and reporting tools, such as SAP, Excel, and Power BI

Way of Working:

This role requires being in the Amsterdam office for 4 days a week, with a possibility to work from home once a week. Please note that we cannot consider candidates who require visa sponsorship and/or who are based outside of NL at the time of application.
