Job summary

The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is seeking a Breakfast Chef to lead the hotel's breakfast kitchen, delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests from morning through service. You will oversee production, buffet presentation and live cooking stations while guiding and developing your team to maintain quality, efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include managing early-morning prep, ensuring SOPs are followed, monitoring costs and stock, and collaborating with Food & Beverage

Qualifications

• Experience managing high-volume breakfast buffets and live stations.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong HACCP knowledge and food safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily breakfast operation, ensuring top quality, presentation and consistency across buffet and live stations.
• Coordinate early-morning prep, production planning and service flow for smooth operation.
• Supervise and develop the breakfast kitchen team with a focus on collaboration and improvement.
• Monitor food costs, orders, stock levels and waste; ensure compliance with policies.
