Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is seeking a Breakfast Chef to lead the hotel's breakfast kitchen, ensuring guests start their day with an exceptional dining experience. You will oversee breakfast production, buffet presentation and live cooking stations while guiding your team toward consistent quality, efficiency and guest satisfaction.

You will collaborate with the F&B and Front Office teams, maintain SOPs, manage early-morning prep, control costs and support menu development with the Executive

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily breakfast operation, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation across the buffet and live cooking stations.
• Deliver a seamless breakfast experience by maintaining product freshness, availability and high service standards throughout service.
• Ensure breakfast SOPs are consistently followed and identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate early-morning preparation, production planning and service flow to ensure a smooth and well-organised operation.
• Supervise, coach and support the breakfast kitchen team, creating a positive working environment focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Monitor food costs, ordering, stock levels and waste.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety legislation and company procedures, maintaining a safe kitchen.
• Work with Food & Beverage and Front Office teams to anticipate guest needs and deliver an outstanding breakfast experience.
• Support menu development, seasonal improvements and new breakfast concepts with the Executive Chef.
• Lead by example during service with high energy, clear communication and operational excellence.
