Job summary

Fluence in Amsterdam is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate and manage engineering activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and power infrastructure projects across the EMEA region. You will act as the technical interface between internal teams, partners, subcontractors, and customers throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, project engineering, or project execution within power/renewable energy.
• Experience designing or supporting utility-scale power systems or battery energy storage projects.
• Knowledge of EPC project execution and regional electrical codes/regulations (EMEA).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; Polish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage engineering activities for BESS and power infrastructure projects across EMEA.
• Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements, quality standards, and project constraints.
• Lead design reviews and ensure compliance with internal standards and regs.
• Support procurement by developing technical specifications and reviewing vendor docs.
• Take ownership of projects and provide technical leadership through execution.
• Travel across the EMEA region to support project execution and stakeholder engagement.
