We are Eversheds Sutherland, a global law firm hiring an HR Advisor to join our People team in Amsterdam. The role provides proactive HR advice across the full employee lifecycle, working with the HR Business Partner and People function to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

You will support policy implementation, compliance, absence management, and advisor to line managers on performance, absence and contract matters, while expanding to Benelux initiatives and employer branding.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in an HR advisory or generalist role, ideally in a law firm.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with French desirable.
• Knowledge of Netherlands absence management and social security legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, high‑quality HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
• Partner with HR Business Partner and People team to deliver employee experience.
• Ensure policy compliance and support managers on people responsibilities.
• Drive talent initiatives, employer branding, and university relations across Benelux.
• Keep up‑to‑date on HR developments within the legal sector.
