Job summary

Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht by Hyatt in the heart of Amsterdam invites you to join as a Bell Attendant. You are the first point of contact for guests, warmly welcoming them, assisting with luggage, parking cars and guiding guests through our facilities. You bring a valid EU work permit, driving ability in manual and automatic, and strong English (Dutch is a plus).

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position, due to the nature of its tasks.
• Able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles, and proficient in parking in tight spaces.
• Great language and communication skills in English and, preferably, in Dutch.
• Able to carry luggage, understanding the physical nature of the job.
• A flexible schedule and being available on Fridays / Saturdays / Sundays.
• Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit for the country (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications).

Responsibilities

• Being the first point of contact for our guests, always with a warm smile.
• Assisting guests with carrying luggage.
• Parking and moving guests’ cars as needed, being comfortable driving into and out of our garage and in the vicinity.
• Answering any queries guests might have.
• Monitoring and responding to guest-related emails in a timely and professional manner.
• Supporting the Front Office team with guest check-ins and check-outs when required.
• Assisting with guest requests, reservations, and general administrative tasks.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Providing information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Maintaining a tidy and welcoming lobby and entrance area.
