As a Banequeting Supervisor - you will oversee the seamless execution of events and functions, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction. Your responsibilities include coordinating with the banquet team, managing event setups, and maintaining the high standards of Kimpton de Witt in general. This position is highly hands‑on, requiring constant movement throughout the day. While you'll still engage in regular meetings, briefings, and email correspondence, the majority of your time will be spent actively engaging with guests and your team. Thus, maintaining physical fitness is essential to effectively carry out your responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead briefings/handovers to ensure all team members are informed and prepared for the day's activities.
• Take orders from guests and proactively upsell menu items or promotions.
• Manage stock requests, including ordering, receiving, and distributing supplies as needed.
• Handle cash handling procedures, including closing payments and depositing received funds.
• Motivate and support team members to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months in a similar environment.
• Capable of working a full shift on the floor and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Able to assist in different R&B outlets and other hotel departments when necessary.
• Proficient in basic computer operations, including Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Willing to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in at least one other language, both spoken and written.
