Job summary

Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam is seeking a Banqueting employee (Ambulant) to deliver exceptional service during meetings, events, conferences and private dinners. You will work on the floor, set up spaces, serve guests, and ensure every event meets the highest standards with a hands-on, flexible approach.

Qualifications

• This is a fully operational and physically active position.
• Flexibility, teamwork, and a hands-on attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up, arrange, and break down meeting rooms and event spaces according to event specifications and hotel standards.
• Prepare banquet areas, furniture, audiovisual equipment, and service stations prior to events.
• Welcome and assist guests during meetings, conferences, receptions, and banqueting events.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Ensure event spaces remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout service.
• Replenish supplies and maintain service standards during events.
• Support colleagues across the Food & Beverage department when required.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and deliver the Kimpton service experience at all times.
