Job summary

Kimpton de Witt Amsterdam is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee seamless events, coordinate with the banquet team, and uphold the hotel's high service standards for every guest. This hands-on role requires constant movement, guest interaction, and collaboration with a friendly international team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months in a similar environment.
• Capable of working a full shift on the floor and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Able to assist in different F&B outlets and other hotel departments when necessary.
• Proficient in basic computer operations, including Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Willing to work mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication in English, with proficiency in at least one other language.

Responsibilities

• Lead briefings/handovers to inform the team for the day's activities.
• Take guest orders and upsell menu items or promotions.
• Manage stock requests, including ordering, receiving, and distributing supplies.
• Handle cash procedures, including closing payments and deposits.
• Motivate and support team members to deliver exceptional service.
