Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking an AWS Technical Account Manager to serve as a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for Enterprise Support customers in Amsterdam. You will craft strategies to drive adoption, provide advocacy and guidance for building solutions using AWS best practices, and keep environments operationally healthy.

You will partner with AWS teams to advise on architecture, support strategy, and project planning, while developing relationships across developers to C-suite

Qualifications

• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting across compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
• Experience in technical engineering.
• Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues and leadership, or experience with external customer interaction

Responsibilities

• Build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer.
• Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity.
• Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
• Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
• Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
• Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
• Solve problems across different customers as they migrate workloads to the cloud.
• Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops and enablement sessions.
