Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer based in the Netherlands. This mid-level role focuses on designing, deploying, and optimizing AWS environments for diverse client needs.

You will work across cloud engagements, combining hands-on infra with client advisory work, using infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and automation to deliver reliable, secure cloud solutions while improving performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cloud/AWS/DevOps engineer in production or client environments.
• Hands-on AWS resource deployment and configuration.
• IaC experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Kubernetes experience and container deployments.
• Strong AWS networking, VPC, and security knowledge.
• Ability to communicate with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain modular AWS infrastructure.
• Advise clients on design and architecture of AWS cloud solutions.
• Analyze and resolve deployment challenges across cloud environments.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with IaC.
• Implement CI/CD processes with GitLab, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Configure Kubernetes clusters and containerized deployments.
• Maintain secure AWS networking and VPC configurations.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure data storage solutions meet client requirements.
• Stay current with AWS services and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to deliver effective solutions.
