Job summary

BYD Europe BV in Hoofddorf, Netherlands, is seeking an experienced Automotive Operations Excellence & Strategy Manager to design and implement scalable operational frameworks across Europe’s automotive logistics and supply chain networks.

You will lead a team of Operations Specialists, drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, partner with commercial and engineering teams, and translate business requirements into practical solutions for improved service levels and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field (Supply Chain/Logistics)
• 10+ years in automotive, logistics, or operations management
• Proven leadership of ops teams in complex international environments
• Track record in developing and implementing operational strategies and standards
• Strong background in automotive logistics, network design, transportation management, and process optimization

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute mid- and long-term automotive operations and logistics strategies aligned with business objectives
• Define and implement operating models, governance frameworks, and best practices across multiple markets and business units
• Lead strategic initiatives focused on network optimization, process harmonization, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Act as a key advisor to senior management on operational performance, transformation programs, and business growth opportunities
• Support commercial teams with innovative logistics and operational solutions for customers and partners
