Job summary

BYD Europe BV in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, is seeking a Logistics Operations professional to manage daily third-party port and vehicle compound activities. Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of third-party ports and vehicle compounds, and coordinate with logistics suppliers on operational issues.
• Track vessel schedules and coordinate with ports to ensure smooth vessel arrivals and discharging operations.
• Follow up vehicle inbound/outbound movements, storage status and operational performance.
• Review operational costs and invoices, and prepare payment requests with required supporting documents.
• Manage inventory checks, regular stocktaking and year-end audit support.

About The Role

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, port or automotive operations preferred.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel for business when required.
• SAP or other logistics/inventory system experience is a plus.
