Overview
At Webfleet Solutions we are looking for an Associate Field Service Project Manager to lead large-scale automotive telematics deployment projects for our key customers. This role involves managing a network of third-party companies specialized in automotive hardware installation, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
The Field Service Project Manager will oversee the service department’s budget, identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, and monitor service-related expenses, including revisions, warranties, and SLAs. They will ensure compliance with service agreements to validate invoicing in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Customer Service, Customer Success Management, and Administration teams. Additionally, the position requires occasional travel to meet installation partners and support the management of strategic accounts.
Here’s a little taste of your challenge:
You will be responsible for coordinating and managing complex installations projects (High Volume deployments for Key customers requiring Tailor-made adjustments, like additional hardware, complex preparation for integration of software and/or non WFS hardware) of our solutions in the Benelux.
Responsibilities
- Ambassador of the Field Services department in your region: presenting key figures internally, tracking key progresses.
- Serve as the main WFS contact during deployments, coordinating with external and internal stakeholders.
- Enroll and manage 3rd party Installation Partners (IPs) in the designated area (define precise expectations, analyze SLAs, provide theoretical trainings).
- Support Sales in direct sales projects, during pre-sales and contract execution.
Installation Partner performance and Cost Control:
- Optimize the Installation Partner network by monitoring KPIs such as work order completion times, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and optimize the network of third-party partners.
- Review overall service costs including revisions, warranties, and SLAs.
- Ensure the service department operates within budget by monitoring and enforcing compliance with SLAs, reviewing and validating invoicing in collaboration with the Quality Coordinator and key internal stakeholders (e.g., Customer Support, CSM/Sales), and identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Account Management for Strategic Accounts/Pilots:
- Coordinate and manage complex installation projects involving high-volume deployments for key customers requiring tailor-made adjustments (e.g., additional hardware, complex software integration, non-WFS hardware).
- Participate in rollout planning meetings with direct customers and internal stakeholders (e.g., Account Managers, Customer Support).
- Ensure direct communication with customers and align with Sales Engineering and Customer Support teams.
Who are you?
- 5 years of experience in managing projects with knowledge of project management methods.
- Experience with customer-facing projects.
- Good communication skills to align with internal and external stakeholders in English and Dutch.
- Driven self-starter with a positive outlook, being flexible and thinking outside the box.
- Ability to connect with stakeholders, build relationships and federate people around your goals.
- MS Office software (especially Excel); Salesforce is a plus.
- Technical affinity for Telematics and related topics to vehicles/technology is a plus.
