Job summary

Amstel Hotel is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join its luxury commercial team in Amsterdam. You will collaborate with the Director of Sales to craft and execute creative strategies that drive profitability and guest experience.

Ideal candidates have a hospitality background, fluency in Dutch and English, and a proactive, network-driven approach to securing corporate, MICE and government business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in hospitality or a related field.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be a social butterfly and natural networker – actively engage with local community, partners, colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Solicits new business for the hotel across European, corporate, MICE, government segments.
• Provides market intelligence to the Director of Sales from client interactions.
• Implements proactive sales action plans per the business plan.
• Develops relationships with key clients to grow market share and drive revenue.
• Hosts familiarization stays, conducts site inspections, and delivers sales presentations.
