Job summary

Eindhoven University of Technology invites applications for an Assistant Professor in the broad field of fluid dynamics and flowing matter. The position is embedded in the Fluids and Flows unit of the Department of Applied Physics and Science Education (APSE) at TU/e, Eindhoven.

You will independently develop and lead your own research program and contribute to Bachelor and Master curricula. You will work in a collaborative environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities, and participate

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant fields (Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics)
• At least two years of research experience after PhD as a postdoc or equivalent
• For TU/e PhD graduates, at least one year of substantive research in a different external environment
• Strong publication record and evidence of initiating high-quality research
• Motivated to teach and develop as an educator
• Commitment to educational development
• Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English
